This letter concerns the issue of Wi-Fi in schools. The death of a 10-year-old Horowhenua school student from a brain tumor prompted one school to consider the safety of Wi-Fi in its classrooms after the family raised questions about the effect Wi-Fi radiation could have on children. There are concerns that the child’s tumor could have been linked to the use of a Wi-Fi-connected iPod.
