Knoll Law Firm involved in lawsuit alleging link between cellphones and tumors

Knoll Law Firm of Marksville is one of seven law firms from around the nation that are involved in a suit alleging a link between cell phones and brain tumors.
Washington, D.C., superior court Judge Frederick H. Weisberg ruled on Aug. 8 that five scientific expert witnesses can testify for consumers who allege that their brain tumors were caused or promoted by cell phone use. The ruling also requires the cell phone companies to make certain in-house documents available to the plaintiffs. Plaintiffs allege that cell phones not only contain radiation that can cause brain tumors, but the cell phone industry knew of these risks and have hidden them from the public.
