Geneva audiences exhibit very bad behavior with their wireless gadgets. During an orchestra concert, a member of the audience dropped his cell phone on the musicians while they were playing. Others view their cell phones during the entire concert, the light from the screen and constant finger movement annoying those seated near them. To encourage this behavior, there is a very big Wi-Fi router in the middle of the main concert hall. I could not sit anywhere near it because it caused pressure in my head. Cell phones should be checked at the door and/or heavy fines levied on users during concerts and plays. Here are similar experiences from New York.

"And I'm going to be honest with you, it was a little bit scary, because it's such a boundary and, like, he crossed it! And the guy actually went to the socket and plugged his phone in."
