On 6 October 2011, Dennis Kucinich, at that time, United States Representative from Ohio's 10th congressional district. delivered a speech at the Wireless Safety Summit held on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. Representative Kucinich has been served in Congress from 1997 to 2013.
The Summit, hosted by the Center for Safer Wireless, was attended by activists, journalists and other interested parties in person or by computer. The purpose of the Summit was to communicate the latest developments regarding wireless radiation and human health to allow participants to discuss this issue with congressional staff.
As Representative to the U.S. Congress, Mr. Kucinich introduced the "Cell Phone Right to Know Act" which was endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics in December 2012.
