Wi-Fi and Our Health
Not only smartphones transmit our personal information to corporations and government agencies like the NSA… Following the establishment of a new federal ordinance at the beginning of 2013, the city of Geneva is registering and keeping up to one year personal information on some 2,000 users connected continuously to public Wi-Fi in order to provide the law with new instruments for investigation.
Just as worrisome are the health risks of a technology which emits electromagnetic (EM) waves, classified in 2011 as potentially carcinogenic by the World Health Organization. A laptop, tablet or iPad placed in one’s lap and connected to Wi-Fi can be harmful to male fertility, affect female fertility, and increase the risk of miscarriage during pregnancy.
