If we truly want to rid the world of chemical weapons, the United States needs to set a better example. Waiting another 10 years to destroy our own arsenal is not acceptable. Are we telling Syria they have 10 years? We continually seem to be in a situation where in our relations with other countries, our policy is "Don't do as we do, do as we say." -- Dennis Kucinich

The article linked below was written in April 2013, but is very relevant today considering Syria becoming a signatory to the International Chemical Weapons Convention. "...six additional states -- Angola, Egypt, Israel, Myanmar, Somalia and South Sudan -- have yet to become CWC member states."
